Overview
Pseudomonas Aeruginosa (said: soo-duh-MOH-nuss ay-roo-jee-NOH-suh), is an infectious opportunistic pathogenic bacterium, that spreads quickly to infect unhealthy populations, when their defence mechanisms are impaired. Pseudomonas Aeruginosa (P. Aeruginosa) is characterised by the green-blue pus that surrounds a wound infected by the bacteria. P. Aeruginosa is a bacterial microorganism that can be spread from person to person through contact, whilst treatment can be difficult due to new technologies not being available for use.
